What is on your hook this month?

The first of the month is always exciting for members of the Hooked on Crochet Club because it means new projects to play with! Swipe left to see them all…

Here is a list of what else is happening - some for members and some for everyone!

* In the clubhouse we’re working to the theme of TEXTURE and new projects were sent to members inbox today.
* We have a new grannie square project idea coming out
* A new washcloth pattern to the theme of TEXTURE is being released
* A new tutorial for the month
* A new yarn review for clubhouse members
* Another chance to win a voucher to buy yarn!
* AND the Clubhouse members get to go on a scavenger hunt and have prizes to win🌟🌟🌟
* AND It’s the Hooked on Crochet Clubs 3rd birthday!

The projects for this month have a simple cable stitch for texture. Project 1 can be used as a bookmark but could be adjusted to make a headwarmer or scarf instead. Project 2 is a blanket! This one could also be adapted to any yarn or size that you prefer. This month’s square is the back loop only treble flower granny!

If you like the look of these projects you can add your name to the waitlist for when the doors open again in October!! 😉😉 (Link in my bio) Because we’re totally online, all projects are delivered at the same time - no keeping quiet waiting for postal services! And when you join you get access to the entire back catalogue of projects.

Hi! 👋🏼👋🏼 We may not have met yet, so just in case that is true, my name is Seona (rhymes with Fiona) & I love that you’re here!

I am totally addicted to crochet and love being able to pass on my skills and knowledge to others. Let me share with you some of what I do…

I have a blog post that comes out every week. You will see at least one granny square project, one washcloth pattern and one tutorial every month. All of these are designed to teach and inspire you to try something new.

On the first if the month I like to go live and do a crochet and chat session to show you everything crochet that has been going on in my world and what is coming up.

I host a #squareadaychallenge 3 times a year. This challenge is designed to teach new skills -including how to read patterns - & I’ve had thousands of participants!

I also have the Hooked on Crochet Club where I help my members achieve new crochet things every single month! We’re celebrating our 3rd birthday in July too!

And so we can get to know each other better…I am a wife and a mother to 3 adult children, a dog named Astro, 2 cats - Zinni and Amber and a bunch of chickens too. I love to crochet, read books and occassionally sew or play with other crafts. I am currently working on my fitness and have a peloton bike to help me with that! I also enjoy walking and love to cook - but only if it is quick and simple and tastes good (love my thermomix too!)! Oh, and I live in Perth Australia and work full-time as a Senior QA Manager for a medical device company.

On Friday I asked the question “what can you do

On Friday I asked the question “what can you do today that you couldn’t do at the beginning of this week?” And here are just some of the responses!

All of this just from spending 5 days getting a taste of the Hooked on Crochet Club.
Let me share some of what they achieved:
🧶 learned to read a pattern
🧶 learned new stitches
🧶 made time for themselves
🧶 gained confidence

The #squareadaychallenge is over but the learning doesn’t need to be! Inside the Hooked on Crochet Club we’re dedicated to helping you to continue to learn and improve on your crochet skills.

We’ve just spent 5 days doing the #squareadaychallenge and these are some of the squares from each day.

It has been awesome to see more than to 1100 crocheters challenge themselves to read a pattern, try new stitches and make time for themselves each day. And I’m super excited to welcome some of them into the Hooked on Crochet Club. The challenge gave them a taste of what we offer and I’m thrilled to be able to help them continue on their crochet learning journey!
